This
window shows that moment in
June 1675, when St.
Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690) had a "great apparition"
where Christ came to her and said, "Behold the Heart that
has so loved men . . . instead of gratitude I receive from the
greater part (of mankind) only ingratitude . . ." He asked
her to help propagate a new devotion which has become known as
the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Suffer
the Little Children to Come Unto Me
Gift
of the School Children

The
window illustrates the episode where Jesus stresses the importance
of children:
"And
they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and
His disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw
it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little
children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the
kingdom of God" (Mark 10:13-14).

Jesus
says to Peter, "And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon
this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld
shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kindgom
of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven;
and whatever you loose on earth shall be looseed in heaven."
(Matthew 16:18-19)
